English has slang terms, it is usually used in informal conversation. Sometimes, it doesn't follow the right rules.   In bahasa Indonesia, we also have it. Slang terms in bahasa Indonesia develop from the origin term. Now, our adolescents often make a new slang and it is very pupular especially when they are in conversation. You can open their accounts in facebook or twitter and you'll find many slang terms. And some of them is very hyperbole, so we call it by " bahasa alay ". These terms are not used in both formal conversation and writing lesson because they are not available in Kamus Besar Bahasa Indonesia. Okay, check the example : " Gue " term comes from bahasa Betawi, one of local language in Indonesia, which is used firstly in Jakarta. It refers to " Saya or Aku " (English : I (S), me (object) ). Bahasa Indonesia is like English. It has two forms in sentence : active and passive voice. Active form in English : S+V+O (+complement) Passive form in English : O+to be+V3+by S If we want to change active form into passive form, we need little alteration like we put Object at the beginning of sentence and Subject at the end of sentence. Then, we also give to be before V3 in passive voice. How about bahasa Indonesia? We have prefix that can help us to make a sentence. But, it’s different with English. English also has prefixes, right? Prefixes in English often use to give a negative meaning such as invisible, disappear, underestimate , etc. In bahasa Indonesia, there are many prefixes put in front of the verb or another parts of speech. The meaning of prefix in bahasa Indonesia is awalan . To make a passive voice, we usually use prefix like this : “ di ”. Bahasa Indonesia is national language used by Indonesian people. It has little different structure in sentences if we compare it with English. For example when we make a sentence using adjective. In English, adjective is put before noun. But in bahasa Indonesia, we put it after noun. Another difference is about time. We have many structures in English when the time isn't same. In bahasa Indonesia, we just put adverb of time without change the structure or the words. Now, i'd like to give some examples.  English (E) : Budi  has   short  hair                     (S)   (V)  (Adj) (N) Indonesia (I) : Budi memiliki rambut pendek                        (S)    (V)         (N)     (Adj) E : Ani eats a ripe banana       (S) (V)   (Adj)     (N) I : Ani memakan pisang mat...
